Princess sleepover
We decided to have our own princess sleepover for a little bit of bonding! We made pasta and bread, brownies, and watched the movie frozen. I can't stop laughing when I'm with these girls!

Dining etiquette to Lumberjack sports
Today we had an orientation from 8:00-12:00
We did a wardrobe fitting…..we're still getting more clothes!!
We learned from, Ms. Marilyn Clint and Mr. Rich Jarvis, how to deal with media and people asking us questions, they really grilled us!
We got (what the rose festival folk call) "our ditty's"…a few brief sentences on ourself and a unique thing about the Portland Rose Festival.
We also had our official dining etiquette class from Ms. Greene. Who knew that the salt and pepper must always travel together!?
Then right after being taught the proper way to hold a fork I changed into an old pair of jeans, some Romeo boots and zipped off to my dads high school forestry competition. I competed in the axe throw, interview, cross-cut sawing, and log rolling. I took home first place in girls open log rolling!
To top off the day some friends and I will be going downtown for one of my favorite things to do in Portland, attend concerts! We are seeing a band called the Colourists…don't worry if you've never heard of them, tickets were only $10 :)
