Wow! Today was the unveiling of a portrait done of the 100th Rose Festival Queen, by artist Naomi Segal Deitz. Naomi is a member of the Oregon Society of Artists,
http://www.oregonsocietyofartists.com. The OSA is a sanctioned event during the Rose Festival. This was the first time the OSA has commissioned a portrait of the queen. The portrait turned out beautiful. Thank you to Naomi and the OSA for the special gift. Hopefully this can become an annual event.
